Excellent care with a lot of issues. Very competent doctors. Staff friendly.
The most caring vets I have ever met. Especially Dr. Good. I met her when I adopted my first dog through the Dearborn Animal shelter, way back in about 2000. She was one of the volunteer veterinarians. Her practice has grown and yet they still maintain the same kind of individualized care for every pet and owner. The whole staff is a wonderful, caring group of pet lovers and professionals.
New to the area and had to find a new vet for my Siberian Husky. This was the most highly recommended place and I could see why. The staff is wonderful, the facility is clean, and the veterinarians are friendly and knowledgeable and I could see they clearly loved our furry family as much as we do. This vet is on the more expensive side in comparison to other vets I have looked into, but if you want trustworthy care, this is the place to go.
Took my Australian Shepherd puppy to his first vet visit here and he loved it! The staff was so good with him, he didn't even notice when he was getting his shot! I was sent home with a very thorough information packet that discussed all the shots he would need and even training advice. I think both me and him will look forward to getting his care at this facility!
I’ve never been to a veterinarian who cared so much about my dog. I just recently went in to put my baby girl Sheba to sleep :(. But everyone there made my family and I feel extremely comfortable while we were saying our goodbyes. They let me give as many treats to Sheba as she could eat and everyone was so supportive and sympathetic, more so than I would’ve expected. I felt the love they have for animals, and they made my sad experience with putting my dog down a better experience...because they really did care about Sheba! And they also cared about myself and my family. About a week after we came in I received a sweet, thoughtful, and loving card about Sheba that everyone there signed, it was so touching my brother and I both cried when we read it. I’m so happy that I have somewhere to take my furry family members to, where I know people really care about them as if they were they’re own! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who works there for the card and being such beautiful people!
The only thing I found that was negative, was that the vet was unaware that Australian Shepherds are highly likely to have an MDR1 genetic mutation since they are a herding breed, but once I discussed this concern with the vet, she took the time to review the genetic testing he would need and what medication he could have an adverse reaction to if he does have the gene. I did really appreciate that she took the time to investigate my concern.
