Please disregard the slanderous review made by Ken Murphy. His claims are either malicious lies or the ravings of someone who is mentally unwell. Aside from the fact that his baseless assertions are complete mischaracterizations of Fr. Bilot (we have parishoners and staff at Divine Child who have known him for 20+ years and will attest to that), the specific details of his claims don't even come close to adding up.

To summarize: If Fr. Bilot and Ken Murphy were in the chapel at the same time, they would most likely be seperated by bars with at least two or three other people in their presence. Given all of this information, you can now see just how ridiculous Ken's claim is.

Despite having over 2,000 families at our parish, it still feels as close knit as can be. There is a beautiful sense of community. Liturgy is carried out meticulously, with reverence and orthodoxy. I thank God that I found Church of the Divine Child. Father Jim's guidance, along with the uplifting example and support of my brothers and sisters in Christ here at Divine Child have helped me find the renewal of faith I so desperately needed.

Good people, caring priests that are faithful to the Church's teaching. Adoration chapel is a peaceful place for prayer and meditation.

There is one major problem with the church. Pastor, Mr. Bilot, has a serious darkside. The guy committed battery against me, grabbing my face and yelling, "Shut up," after repeated diminution of my Christ-given dignity.

There are many beautiful parishioners here. The sacraments are made available. It is clear the parish invests a lot of money into its facilities and campus.

To any who've been subject of clergical abuse, it is a deep wound, compounded by incredulity and resentment of those to whom you mention the violence or embarrassment. You will be hated for telling truth, maybe, asked not to come around. It is wrong. Know, you who tell the truth are the holy and strong.

2) The priests are seldom ever *in* the chapel for any reason, as a parishoner is responsible for upkeep of the chapel, not the priests. When the priests go to adoration at the chapel, they sit on the other side of the sacristy door without actually having to go inside.

Fr. Bilot is an outstanding priest and man of God. He's so devoted, passionate, and level headed. Not the type to ever lose his temper. In fact, even when I brought it to his attention that someone was bearing false witness against him online, Fr. Bilot was completely calm and unaffected by it, assuring me that he doesn't pay attention to Google reviews. He seemed more concerned about the state of Ken's mental health than by Ken smearing his character. That's the quality of a holy man. I only hope and pray that I can someday reach Fr. Bilot's level of charity and kindness. What a sad irony that someone would have it out for one of the best priests you'll ever meet. Please do not be mislead. Fr. Jim Bilot is an awesome priest and Divine Child is an awesome parish! I mean that in the most literal terms; Divine Child inspires awe!

1) There are constantly people coming and going from Divine Child's adoration chapel. If Fr. Bilot were roughing someone up in the chapel (which is so preposterous it makes me laugh to even have to type it), somebody else would have seen it.

I've been through a lot of parishes in my life and none can compare to Divine Child, due largely in part to the outstanding pastoral and temporal leadership of our pastor, Father Jim Bilot. He is a Christ-like example and a compassionate spiritual father who lives out his sacred vocation with the utmost grace, passion in boldy and insightfully preaching the Gospel, and love for the flock which has been entrusted to his care. He has personally helped me grow in my relationship with Christ more than I know how to describe and has guided me through the process of becoming a more faithful, charitable, and all around better human being and Christian. He is an honorable man and a faithful servant of our Lord. Countless people look up to him and are inspired by his witness, myself first and foremost.

End the immunity.

The battery transpired in the chapel before the Eucharist. Mr. Bilot would terminate employment of any DC teacher who did this to a student, or expel any high-schooler who did it to a peer. If you or I did this at work, we'd be escorted to the exit. If Bilot would do it to me, he might do it to your precious child whom you wish to go on to be a whole, wise person with a professional life after an education at Divine Child.

3) Because the chapel is unlocked 24 hours a day, there are metal bars which seperate the seating (nave) from the tabernacle and altar (sanctuary). The sacristy door is on the sanctuary side, so if the priests *are* ever in the chapel, they're most likely to be in the sanctuary and not the nave.

My favorite church and schools.

Yet, Bilot will go on and become a monsignor, because actual merit or misconduct do not matter. The title "priest" guarantees blind support and good ol' boy privileges. He will have the routine ascent through the ranks. He committed a crime. Does it matter? No, he is the unassailable, never-wrong "priest."

God values truth before protectionism of priests. There was a rapist priest at my boyhood church. I knew the man was evil. The church merely sent him to Alaska instead of prosecuting him for multiple rapes of boys. There is no excuse for clerical abuse.
